I so love this. When I would visit my grandmother in her assisted living there were so many people who looked so alone and sad. This is wonderful! I'm going to check it out.

I love the fact that you don’t have to make any kind of longterm commitment — and the descriptions of the potential recipients written by whoever nominated them (usually a grown child or grandchild) are quite compelling and always give you something concrete to write about.

I so admire you Barbara, and you constantly inspire me. I'd love to be a part of any workshop you do because you also scare me (because I can't draw ANYTHING like you do) - and I think we should get close to things that scare us! I think you'd have a lot to teach me and others about creativity and freedom. ~Sharon PS - I'm also a social worker!
