And, Elizabeth, an attractive, hand written note may well be kept around for a long time as one of life’s little treasures. With e-mail, the “delete button” is never far away, and it doesn’t even leave dust.

Elizabeth, I could not agree with you more. Having traveled most of my life, writing postcards, notes, and letters is a part of me. One time, I was in Seattle for a year in my mid-teens and my best girlfriend back home in Nashville was doing the same in Virginia. I have no memory of our argument, but we got mad at one another and began tearing up any correspondence and mailing it back to them. By the time we got over with hard feelings, we were literally mailing specks of dust back to one another across the country!

Enough of me! I'm always a little amazed that when you send a written note, people remember it far longer than anyone has ever recalled an email, much less a text! Thank you & Keep (Hand) Writing!
