Day #5: Celebrating Life's Moments: National Stationery Week
Every moment is sacred -- two more of my favorite stationery artists
To celebrate National Stationery Week and spread the #HeartspokenMovement, I’m wrapping up today with a spotlight on two more wonderful notecard artists: Mickey Baxter-Spade and Alexandra Burrow of Sublime & Co.. When you have stationery you love, you’re much more likely to grab a piece and send a note, so support these talented artists and order some today!
Mickey Baxter-Spade
I met Mickey through a mutual friend (thank you, Denise Wakeman!), and what a joy to discover her amazing talents (and these include writing, so subscribe to her blog). If you’ve ever been to the Broadmoor Resort in Colorado Springs, you’ve seen her commissioned work throughout on tiles and murals.
Happily for me, she has put some of her art on notecards, and they fill me with joy every time I use them. Some depict exquisite floral specimens while others are more abstract with a message (Birthday, Thank you, and Inspiration). Whatever you need, you’ll love perusing her creative offerings.
Mickey is a valuable member of our Facebook group “The Art of the Heartspoken Note.”
Alexandra Burrow - Sublime & Co.
Alexandra was the moderator of my presentation to the Greeting Card Association last year, and I was delighted to discover her wonderful line of greeting cards offered through her own Sublime & Co. Like fairy dust, they are shot through with magic, love, and imagination. The short, lovely messages on the outside of each piece of art will be the perfect starting point for your own message added inside. Be sure to check out all the different categories: Winter, Birthday, Congrats, Love & Friendship, Thank You, Sympathy & Encouragement.
Enjoy!
